Billing and Claims
Splinting Solutions, LLC shall verify insurance eligibility upon intake of order. As a reminder, for clients under Medicare Part A insurance in the skilled nursing facility, the SNF is responsible for payment. Payment is due upon receipt of product.
Splinting Solutions will bill for Medicare Part B, Managed B, CT Medicaid insurances. Splinting Solutions will bill the appropriate insurance carrier on the client's behalf, but the client is responsible for any co-payments not covered by insurance.
Delivery
Products that are delivered by our staff and custom fit will be scheduled for delivery within 2-3 business days on average. We require a copy of the prescription, and OT/PT evaluation, as well as the demographic page to be available upon our arrival.
Shipping
Orders received after 2:00 pm will be shipped the following day. All orders are shipped commercial ground carrier unless you specifically request Next Day Air, Second Day air or Third Day Delivery, at an extra charge.
Returns
All returns are required to have prior authorization. Products that are Special Order may be subject to a re-stocking fee by the manufacturer and need to be return in unused, unmarked and unopened packaging. Splinting Solutions will not accept any product returns with biohazard contamination.
Please call customer service at 860-568-0825 to discuss the return and to obtain a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number. Please have the original purchase order number, invoice number / client name and order date ready to expedite your request. No authorization will be give without the original order information.
Exception:
For items that have been custom fit by our staff, returns will be accepted for products which have been trialed with proper infection control within 24-48 hours of fitting with original packaging. The customer shall bear the cost of return shipping.
Damaged Goods/Short Shipments
Must be reported within 2 days of receipt. Be sure to note any damage or poor box conditions when signing for packages. If shipment arrives damaged or with parts missing, contact the carrier immediately. Be sure to save product packaging.
Warranty
Splinting Solutions shall be made aware of any product defects in a timely manner. Manufacturer policies for returns for warranty defects are specific to the manufacturer, but in general, are returnable within 90 days of delivery. The manufacturer will send a call tag or return shipping label to pick up the defective product at no charge and will ship a replacement product once the defective product is received.
Returns are not warrantied by the manufacturer for intentional or unintentional damage. A new order would need to be placed and billed to the appropriate entity.
